Although our specialty is ground transportation for pets, we understand that there are times that air travel is more cost-effective and timely. We have assisted many pet owners over the years in flying their pets in and out of US airports.

​Our most recent air shipping service is reserved only for small dogs and cats (under 10 pounds). This flight nanny service is an in-cabin experience, with your pet being supervised and loved throughout the trip. We supply a brand new soft-sided carrier, which is yours to keep upon delivery. Our flight nanny will keep you posted with pictures and updates before take-off, during layover, and on arrival. You are welcome to meet us at the airport, or we can drive the puppy to your door.

Please Be Advised: We do not fly "standby"! All flights are booked in advance with a pet reservation added to the flight nanny ticket. You will be given airline info and flight numbers prior to the date of travel. 

1. Airport to Airport

The breeder will meet the flight nanny at the departure airport with your pet. We will check in and go through security with your pet.

We will supply a brand new soft-sided carrier that is yours to keep after the trip.

Our flight nanny will meet you at the arrival airport with your pet.

Typical price: $1,575.00

2. Door to Airport

We will pick up your pet from the breeder (within 1.5 hours of departure airport), drive to departure airport, and check in and go through security with your pet.

We will supply a brand new soft-sided carrier that is yours to keep after the trip.

Our flight nanny will meet you at the arrival airport with your pet.

Typical price: $1,775.00

3. Door to Door

We will pick up your pet from the breeder (within 1.5 hours of departure airport), drive to departure airport, and check in and go through security with your pet.

We will supply a brand new soft-sided carrier that is yours to keep after the trip.

We will rent a car at arrival airport and deliver your pet to your door (within 1.5 hours of arrival airport).

Typical price: $1,975

*Typical prices reflect weekday non-holiday advanced reservations. Last-minute bookings or reservations made during high-volume travel periods will result in higher rates.

Airlines will not accept pets that have been sedated prior to air shipping.

Tranquilizers may work well for pets that need to relieve stress in a home setting, such as in a thunderstorm or Fourth of July celebration, but pets should never be sedated for travel. Sedation may cause them to stop drinking water, and dehydration can kill! Please refrain from giving tranquilizers to your pets before or during travel, regardless of the mode of transportation.

Why Do We Supply a Carrier?

Our flight nanny service usually caters to very young puppies or kittens who have not yet received all of their vaccinations. This makes them more vulnerable to contamination from previously used carriers. Rather than trusting in sanitization, we prefer to start fresh with a brand new carrier for each pet.

We also must ensure that the carrier we use is airline approved. By supplying the proper style and size of carrier, we can confidently navigate airline and airport security measures.
